10. INITIAL START UP PROCEDURES
a) Dynamic Air Powered Mixer:

Installation and Operation of Model 8900 VR
Air to system (main air) must be ON (black knob out). Air to mixer
OFF.
Mixer Pre-Start: Open one outlet on cartridge filler; open ball valve
to dynamic mixer air motor.
Pull dispense actuate lever to start dispensing. In a short time,
material will begin to flow from cartridge fill outlet. Allow to run until
good mix is obtained. Close that outlet and open other cartridge fill
outlet and allow material to flow until good mix is noted.
NOTE: Never leave both cartridge fill outlets closed at the
same time. One outlet should always be open for proper
machine operation.

Thread cartridge onto fill outlet; open that ball valve while closing
the other. Fill cartridge. Close ball valve. Alternate and repeat.
At end of dispensing cycle, leave mixer air motor on and base
purge.
Shut mixer motor then the entire system OFF.
