Graco Configured 8900 Proportioner system. ume. Note that the mix ratio of the 8900 Proportioner is achieved by volumetric ratio of component A to compo- nent B and not by weight. These two ratios are often dif- ferent depending on material properties.

Theory of Operation Pump Fluids to the Mixer Some 8900 Proportioners use a 2K disposable mixer element dispense valve instead of the flow gun. Fluid is pumped through the proportioner to a mix cham- ber or to a 2-component dispense gun, where compo-...

Installation Ground Air and fluid hoses: use only electrically conductive hoses with a maximum of 500 (150 m) combined hose length to ensure grounding continuity. Check the electri- cal resistance of your air and fluid hoses. If the total WARNING resistance to ground exceeds 29 megohms, replace the hose immediately.
Installation Flush 2. Flush the system and all hoses by very slowly open- ing the motor control valves until 30 psi (207 kPa, 2.1 bar) is shown on the component A outlet pres- sure gauge. WARNING Flush for 1-2 minutes, then close the motor control valves.
