The seal rubber has a lip
construction to improve water
stopping performance.
Adjust the Straub position to that
the marking on both sides is visible.
The bolts need only be tightened until
the casing is sealed (metal touches).
Consequently, the procedure can be
carried out accurately by anyone to the
same level, regardless of worker
proficiency or the type of pipe.
