Removing and Installing a Processor

Processor Removal Procedure
1. Turn off the computer, turn it over, and remove the battery
2. Remove screws - from the CPU fan

3. Lift the CPU fan off the computer without disconnecting the cable.

4. The CPU heat sink will be visible at point
5. Loosen the CPU heat sink screws in the order

b. Lift the CPU fan without
disconnecing the cable.
And then remove the
screws from the CPU
heatsink.
c. Grip the heat sink tab
and carefully lift the heat
sink up and off the com-
puter.

