Owner's Manual for Power Zone Pro Sync
Description
The Main Controller contains a
hardware circuit that monitors
voltage frequency. If the circuit
detects the frequency has
exceeded its limit, the alarm
triggers. There may be a short or
another potentially dangerous
circumstance with the generator.
Contact an IASD.
The firmware stopped servicing
the microcontroller watchdog
timer, resulting in the
microcontroller resetting. This
could happen due to too much
electrical noise around the
controller, too many controller
interrupts, the microcontroller has
failed or become corrupted, or
other reasons.
The Main Controller's
microcontroller had an internal
error due to electrical noise or a
damaged microcontroller.
The Main Controller reset
unexpectedly. This was likely
caused by the microcontroller
reset line activating due to
electrical noise.
The generator is setup in MPS
mode, but is not receiving
communications from one or
more expected generators.
Check generator configuration or
Ethernet cable connections.
This generator is marked as "out
of service". It needs to be
returned to service to participate
as part of the MPS.
Set Alarm
A voltage frequency of at
least 76 Hz was exceeded.
The watchdog was not
serviced within the required
period of time.
The microcontroller faulted.
The microcontroller reset
line activated, causing a
system reset.
This generator has not
received messages from
one or more of the
generators it was expecting
to be communicating with
for more than ten seconds
and that generator was not
marked as "out of service".
This generator was labeled
as "out of service".
Troubleshooting
Clear Alarm
Power cycle the Main
Controller. Turn
keyswitch to OFF. Clear
the alarm using the
Display.
Power cycle the Main
Controller. Turn the
keyswitch to OFF. Clear
the alarm using the
Display.
Power cycle the Main
Controller. Turn
keyswitch to OFF. Clear
the alarm using the
Display.
Power cycle the Main
Controller. Turn the
keyswitch to OFF. Clear
the alarm using the
Display.
Use the display to
correct the number of
generators in the
system, mark a powered
off system as "out of
service", or verify all
Ethernet connections in
the system are good.
The warning will clear
once the
communications issue is
resolved.
The warning will clear
when this generator is
returned to service and
marked as such.
