Key Function
| MR/M This key is used to select the MR mode. This mode allows you to select the
desired memory channel by turning the main tuning control or with the UP/DWN
pusnbattons on the microphone. vavlon f
ressing the key for longer than 1 second will initiate memory channel scan.
4 VFO/MPV This key is used to select/return to the VFO mode after operating in the MR or
AM CALL Shantisl mode. Pressing this key will allow the tuning control and
microphone UP/DWN keys to control the operating frequency.
Press and hold the key for longer than 1 second to initiate VFO scan.
3 MHz/LOCK This key is used to select a 1 MHz tuning step.

z CALL Press this key to activate the call channel function. |
Pressing the key for longer than 1 second will initiate CALL scan.
This key is used in Conjunction with other front panel keys to reconfigure the
F transceiver.
Selects the desired transmitter offset for repeater operation. Each time the key is
depressed the offset will shift once, i.e." +" to"—",or"—" to " —" (Simplex), SHIFT/DTSS
or" " to" +". ["—" to" —" for European versions.)
