Recording
[1] How to Record from the Beginning of
a Video Cassette
Note:
If you leave the Movie Camera in the Recording Pause
Mode for more than 5 minutes, it automatically switches
off to protect the tape and to conserve Battery Pack
power. This condition is called "Recording Lock" (the
tape remains in contact with the video heads).
To resume recording from this condition, set the
[POWER] Switch to "OFF" and then set it to "ON" again.
If you leave the Movie Camera in the Recording Lock
Mode for more than 48 hours, the Recording Lock Mode
is canceled and the Movie Camera automatically
switches off. You can hear the motor operate when this
happens.
After attaching the Battery Pack and removing the Lens
Cap, start recording as follows:
1 Confirm that the [MANUAL/AUTO] Selector
is set to "AUTO",
2 Set the [POWER] Switch to "ON".
@The "CAMERA" Indication Lamp @ lights.
3 Insert a video cassette with the erasure
prevention tab set to "REC".
eSee "How to Insert the Video Cassette". (-> 16)
eThe "PAUSE" Indication appears in the Viewfinder.
4 Press the Start/Stop Button.
®The Tally Lamp remains lit during recording.
The "REC" Indication appears in the Viewfinder.
You have now started recording.
When you record from a low position, it is also
possible to start and pause recording with the
Start/Stop Button @.

d'une cassette
Nota:
Si la caméra est laissée en mode pause a
l'enregistrement plus de 5 minutes, je contact est
automatiquement coupé pour protéger la bande et
conserver l'énergie du bloc-batterie. Cette fonction
s'appelle "verrouillage de l'enregistrement" (la bande
demeure en contact avec les tétes vidéo).
Pour poursuivre l'enregistrement, mettre l'interrupteur
[POWER] a la position "OFF", puis le remettre a "ON".
Si l'appareil est laissé plus de 48 heures en mode
verrouillage de l'enregistrement, ce mode est désactivé
et le contact est automatiquement coupé. Dans un tel
cas, le bruit du moteur est clairement audible.
Aprés avoir fixé le bloc-batterie a la caméra et retiré le
capuchon de Fobjectif, débuter l'enregistrement de ta
maniére décrite ci-dessous:
1 S'assurer que le sélecteur
([MANUAL/AUTO] est a la position "AUTO".
2 Mettre l'interrupteur [POWER] a la position
"ON".
@Le temoin "CAMERA" @ s'allume.
3 Insérer une cassette vidéo dont la
tanguette de prévention d'effacement est a
la position "REC".
®Se reporter a la section "Insertion d'une cassette
vidéo". (-> 16)
@L'indication "PAUSE" apparait a t'écran du viseur.
4 Appuyer sur ta touche de marche/arrét.
eLe témoin d'enregistrement demeure allumé
pendant l'enregistrement.
@Lindication "REC" apparait a I'écran du viseur,
L'enregistrement a débuté.
¢Lors d'un enregistrement a partir d'une position
abaissée, il est possible d'utiliser la touche de
marche/arrét @ pour enclencher et effectuer une
pause a l'enregistrement.
