8. The following screen will be displayed when installation has been com-
pleted. Click the Finish Button and restart the personal computer.
Installation is now completed.
Note 1. The CX-Server PLC Tools must be installed to use CX-Server for the com-
munications driver. Be sure to uninstall CX-Server PLC Tools at the same
time as uninstalling CX-Server.
2. Internet Explorer Ver. 5.0 or higher must be installed in the computer before
installing the CX-Server. Install Internet Explorer Ver. 5.0 or higher before
starting CX-Server installation.
The CX-Process Tool cannot be used if it is installed alone. Either FinsGateway
Embedded Version 3 or higher or CX-Server must be installed on the same com-
puter as the communications driver.
Installation of the CX-Server is not required if CX-Programmer Ver. 5.0 or higher
is installed.
Confirm that Internet Explorer Ver. 5.0 or higher is already installed in the com-
puter before using the following procedure to install the CX-Server.
1. Start the setup program (Setup.exe) in the CX-Server directory on the CD-
ROM:
2. The CX-Server installation program will start.
3. A Select Language Dialog Box will appear.
4. Select the desired language and click the OK button to start the installation.
5. Install the CX-Server PLC Tools.
Select CX-Server PLC Tools from the CX-Server directory on the CD-ROM
and start the setup program (Setup.exe).
6. Select the desired language and click the OK Button to begin installation.
