Note 1. The CX-Process Tool will not start unless the FinsGateway Embedded Ver-
sion 3 or higher or CX-Server is installed.
2. The CX-Process Tool cannot be used with FinsGateway Version 1.
3. To create annotations for CX-Process Monitor, the CX-Process Monitor
software must also be installed on the same computer.
4. The CX-Process Tool comes with FinsGateway Embedded Version 3 and
2003. FinsGateway Runtime Version can also be used. If the Runtime Ver-
sion has been already installed, there is no need to install the Embedded
Version.
If a previous version of CX-Process Tool is installed on your computer, it must be
uninstalled before proceeding with the installation procedure. Use the following
procedure to uninstall CX-Process Tool.
1. Select Settings/Control Panel from the Windows Start Menu.
2. Open Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select CX-Process Tool.
4. Click the Add/Remove Button.
5. Click the OK Button.
6. When CX-Process Tool has been uninstalled, click the OK Button.
7. Use the Windows Explorer to check for files or directories in the installation
directory called CX-Process Tool.
8. If the tool_bin directory has not been deleted, delete it.
1. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD drive.
2. Using Windows Explorer or any other appropriate method, open CX-Pro-
cess Tool in the CD-ROM, and double-click the following icon inside the
disk1 directory.
