3-1-1 Data Configuration

Select Insert/
Insert Node from
the Settings Menu.
(Creates a new
function block file.)
Select New from
File Menu
(Creates a new
multi-node folder
and function block
navigation area.)
This section describes the function block data created using the CX-Process
Tool.

When creating a new function block navigation area, specify the directory (multi-
node folder) where the function block navigation area will be saved. (Select New
from the File Menu.)
Save all the function block navigation data in the multi-node folder in the memory
of the personal computer. (Select Save from the File Menu.)
To prepare a function block file (.ist) in the function block navigation area, insert a
node. (Select Insert – Insert Node from the Settings Menu.)
To open all the existing data in function block navigation area, specify only the
multi-node file (.mul) in the multi-node folder. All relative files will be read. (Select
Open from File Menu.)
To save all the data in function block navigation area in a different multi-node
directory, select Save As from the File Menu.
To import a function block file (.ist) into the function block navigation area, add a
function block file. (Select Add IST File from File Menu.)
