4.2.1.2 IP Configuration

The IP Configuration includes the IP Configuration, IP Interface and IP Routes. The configured column is used to view or
change the IP configuration. The maximum number of interfaces supported is 128 and the maximum number of routes is 128.

Description
Configure the Switch Domain Name
Configure whether the IP stack should act as a Host or a Router. In Host
mode, IP traffic between interfaces will not be routed. In Router mode
traffic is routed between all interfaces.
This setting controls the DNS name resolution done by the switch. The
following modes are supported:
 No DNS server
 Configure IPv4 or IPv6
 From any DHCPv6 interfaces
 From this DHCPv6 interface
Specify from which DHCPv6-enabled interface a provided domain name
should be preferred.

Explicitly specify the name of local domain.
Make sure the configured domain name meets your organization's
given domain.
The first domain name offered from a DHCPv6 lease to a
DHCPv6-enabled interface will be used.
