High quality picture
° Hi8 video system
The Hi8 video format features 400 lines of horizontal resoiution, enabling you to obtain a high video quality even for
dubbing and audio dubbing.
High quality sound
* PCM Audio system
A digital audio sound can be recorded and erased independently of the Hi-Fi stereo sound.
¢ Hi-Fi stereo system
Hi-Fi stereo sound can be recorded on the standard track, and gives a live stereo sound atmosphere.
Functions
¢ TBC (Time Base Corrector) function
Allows a great reduction of jitter during playback.
¢ DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
Allows a picture of good quality with noise reduced using field memory.
¢ Timer recording of six programs in a month
Recording of up to six TV programs can be preset up to one month in advance.
* Index function
The beginning of a desired scene can be located easily with the index search function.
On-screen display

Tape counter, tape recording speed and operation mode can be displayed on the TV screen.
