You can record a tape from another VCR or a
TV program from the TV equipped with
audio/video outputs. (Q)
Before You Begin
* Disconnect the RFU adaptor from the
camcorder if it is connected.
Make connections using an appropriate
audio/video connecting cable according to
the connector type of your VCR or TV.
Sony offers you the following cables.
[a] VMC-710M/720M:
for monaural VCR or TV
{b] VMC-910MS/920MS:
for stereo VCR or TV
Read the instruction manual of the other
equipment to be connected.
Turn on the TV or VCR.
Select the TV program or play back the
tape to be recorded.
Set INPUT/OUTPUT to INPUT.
While pressing the green button, set
POWER on the camcorder to VTR.
Insert a tape and slide @ REC.
Recording starts.
You can monitor the picture being recorded
in the viewfinder.
