Focusing Manually

Press FOCUS.
Make sure that the autofocus frame in the
viewfinder goes out.
2 Keep the T side of the power zoom button
fully depressed to telephoto.
3 Turn the focus ring to achieve sharp focus.
4 Set the desired shot length using the
power zoom button.
Keep the button pressed lightly to change
the shot length slowly. Keep it fully
depressed to change the shot length
rapidly.
Some helpful hints
e
When shooting in relatively dark places such as
indoors, the depth of field in proper focus is very
shallow. For best results, shoot at wide angles
after focusing in telephoto.
When shooting a scene with lots of movement in
bright light, keep the W side of the power zoom
button pressed for wide-angle and set the focus
ring to 2m.
