Configure the Switch for Use

When the terminal emulator application stops reporting information, press
Enter. You receive the following login prompt:

Follow the steps to log into the switch and initial configuration steps in
the Switch for Use
Configure the Switch for Use
To perform the initial login and complete the initial configuration tasks, follow these
steps from the management console.
1. Connect to the ISW-Series Ethernet port (RJ45 Ethernet port) using factory default
IP: 192.0.2.1.
2. Log in with default account and password (admin / [none]
3. Change the IP address with the following commands listed:
enable
configure terminal
interface vlan 1
ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
exit
4. To log in to the web interface, enter your switch's IP address in a web browser.
5. Enter the account name and password.
6. Click Sign in.
