9. Maintenance Tips for Retailers

Maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the Bischoff &
Bischoff maintenance plan. A maintenance schedule will be provided
upon request. A training programme for the specialised trade is also
available.

10. Parking

Parken Sie Ihren Elektrorollstuhl nicht unter feuchten oder dunstigen
Bedingungen, da dies zu Schimmelbildung und einer raschen
Verschlechterung der Polsterungsteile führt. Achten Sie auch darauf,
daß die Antriebe eingekoppelt sind (s. Kap. 4.11).

11. Disposal

If your wheelchair is no longer needed and you want to dispose it,
please contact your authorized mobility dealer.

The wheelchair must be inspected according to the
maintenance schedule and must be in proper tech-
nical condition.
If you want to dispose of it yourself, please ask your
local disposal company for the applicable disposal
regulations in your town or city.

12. Use by Others

The Eltego is appropriate for use by others. For use by others, the
wheelchair must first be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according
to the accompanying care and hygiene instructions.
The product shall get checked by an authorised mobility dealer for
general condition, wear and shall get repaired if necessary.

13. Transport

You can determine whether or not your wheelchair is approved for use
as a seat in a vehicle for transporting disabled people by referring to
the symbols on the CE sticker on the product:
Wheelchair suitable for use as a seat in a vehicle for
transporting disabled people (fig. 30)
Wheelchair not suitable for use as a seat in a vehicle for
transporting disabled people (fig. 31)

14. Storage and Shipping

If the wheelchair is to be stored or shipped, all loose parts which are
not fixed, except for the drive wheels, must be removed and packed
individually in an appropriate cardboard box. The power circuit must
be open when stored for long periods of time. The individually packed
parts can then be packaged together in a larger cardboard box. We
recommend keeping the original packaging and storing it with this
purpose in mind, so that it is available if required. Your wheelchair
then has optimum protection against environmental influences during
storage or transport.
For storage of your commode chair, please observe the information
in the technical data. To avoid mould growth and damage to the the
