Once the charging procedure is complete, unplug the mains plug
and disconnect the scooter from the charger.
When not in use, the battery should be charged once a month in
order to avoid deep discharge.
Deep discharge shortens the service life of the battery significantly,
or the battery may also be damaged by the deep discharge.
Batteries should be stored upright, in dry, frost-free conditions.
As soon as the range with fully-charged batteries starts to decrease
significantly, you should replace the batteries.

7.3.2. Exchanging Batteries

Be extremely careful when working with the batteries. Avoid working
with metal tools, do not touch the battery terminals and observe the
instructions of the manufacturer.
Only use batteries that are approved for this wheelchair (see Technical
Data).
Make sure the wheelchair is turned off before starting to exchange
the batteries.
Loosen the fitting holding the batteries in place and pull out the
battery sled.
Loosen the cover of the battery compartment.
Loosen the battery cable, first the red one and then the black one.
You won't need a tool to do this.
Carefully lift the batteries out on their straps.
Lift the new batteries into their designated place and reconnect the
terminals. Observe the correct color coding (red and black).

Warning! This work should only be carried out by a
qualified mobility dealer. There is a risk to life!
Secure the battery cover with the Velcro strap and slide the
battery compartment back into its original position. It will catch
automatically.
When the service life of the batteries has expired, i.e.
when they can no longer be charged sufficiently, the
batteries may not be disposed of with the ordinary
household garbage. Old batteries are taken back by
the dealer and disposed of properly when buying a
new battery from him!

8. Maintenance Instructions

Typical wear parts are brakes and tyres. Contact your dealer for spare
parts.
We recommend that you take your wheelchair to your dealer for
inspection at least once a year.
If there are faults or defects, take the wheelchair to your dealer
immediately for repair.
The information and documentation required for repair and
maintenance shall be supplied to the mobility dealer on request.

Check your wheelchair regularly in accordance with
the maintenance plan.
