Removing the lower triple clamp

Position the brake caliper, and mount and tighten screws
Guideline
Screw, front M8
brake caliper
–
Position the brake line and the clamp. Mount and tighten

screws .
Guideline
Screw, brake hose
bracket
Clamp the brake line only via the metal bushing.
Make sure that the upper edge of the bushing is as flush as
possible with the bracket.
Finishing work
–
Install the front wheel.
Preparatory work
–
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (

Remove the front wheel.
–
Remove the fork legs. (
–
Remove the start number plate. (
–
Remove front fender. (
Main work
–

Pull fuel tank breather
–

Remove nut .
–

Release screw , take off the upper triple clamp with the
handlebar and set aside.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against damage.
Do not kink the cables and lines.

Remove protective ring
–
Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
–
Remove the upper steering head bearing.
20 Nm (14.8 lbf ft)
Loctite
EJOT 1.7 Nm
