The Menu 3 – TCP/IP Setup fields are explained in the next table:
FIELD
TCP/IP Setup
IP Address
Enter the IP address of your VES-1000 Series switch in dotted decimal
notation.
IP Subnet Mask
Your VES-1000 Series switch automatically calculates the subnet mask
based on the IP address that you assign. Unless you are implementing
subnetting, use the subnet mask computed by the VES-1000 Series
switch.
Default Gateway
Enter the IP address of the default outgoing gateway in dotted decimal
notation.
When you have completed this menu, press [ENTER] at the prompt "Press ENTER to Confirm..." to save your
configuration, or press [ESC] at any time to cancel.

IP Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway = 192.168.1.254
