4. If the oil level is low, remove the fill cap and add
oil until it is between the F

Note:
Do not overfill.
5. Install the oil-fill cap and dipstick.
6. Close the engine cover and secure it with the
latches.

Changing the Engine Oil and Filter
Service Interval: Every 250 hours—Change the
engine oil and filter.
1. Remove the drain plug and let the oil flow into a
drain pan (Figure

2. When all the oil is drained, install the drain plug.
3. Remove the oil filter
4. Apply a light coat of clean oil to the new filter
seal before screwing it on.
Important:
Do not overtighten.
5. Add oil to the crankcase; refer to
Engine-Oil Level (page
