2.5 Power Application Modes/Preferred Output Source
Selection
• Utility First – Utility will power the
connected load, and solar (if available)
will charge the battery system. If solar
power is incapable of charging the
battery system, both AC and solar
power will charge the battery system.
• Battery First – The battery system will
supply power to the connected load as
first priority. When the battery voltage
warning level is reached and utility
or generator power is present, utility
power or generator power will take over
and supply power to the connected
loads and recharge the battery system.
Once the battery system is recharged,
the inverter/charger will transfer the
load back to the battery system.
