4. Operations

4.1 Power On/Off/Bypass

Once the unit is properly installed and connections are secure, move the Inverter/Charger's On/Off/Bypass switch to
the ON position and the wired remote switch to the Unit On (if installed) switch position.
Note: When the wired remote control is attached to the Inverter/Charger, you can place it in either Unit On, Unit Off or Bypass
Mode via its switch on the remote control.

4.2 Operation and Display Panel

The LCD operation panel is located on the front of the Inverter/Charger. LED indicators are also present for quick
indication of power state, charging and fault conditions. After the initial power ON, the LEDs will cycle through the
start-up diagnostic routine and pass AC power from the utility (if connected).

4.3 LCD Configuration Mode

After powering on the unit, press and hold the Enter button for 3 seconds and the unit will enter Configuration Mode.

Description
Press and hold the ESC button for 3 seconds to exit
setting mode. Pressing and holding while in Line Mode
will mute the system from audible alarms.
Utility First: When utility power is present, it will power
the connected loads and solar will charge battery. If solar
power is not present or insufficient, the AC charger will
charge the battery system. When utility power is lost, the
inverter will power the load from the connected battery
system or solar energy (if present).
Battery First: Battery energy provides power to the loads
as first priority. Utility power will only supply the connected
loads when battery low-level warning voltage or the set
point has been reached. Once the battery system is fully
recharged, it will provide power to the connected loads
again.
To take effect, the system must be restarted if you change
the output voltage.

If you choose to use Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) or
Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) deep-cycle batteries, the default
setting of "AGN" should selected.
If you choose to used flooded deep-cycle marine (vented)
batteries, set the battery type to "FLd."
