When you use this machine in
DHCP environment, proceed to

chine with a fixed IP address, you
must make the setting for the re-
quired item after setting DHCP to
Off. Proceed to step

❒ When DHCP is On, you cannot
make settings for the following
items:
• IP Address
• Subnet Mask
• Gateway Address
Consult your network administra-
tor for information about making
network settings.

Set DHCP to Off.
A Press { { { { U U U U } } } } or { { { { T T T T } } } } to display
"DHCP", and then press { { { { Enter
#} } } } .
Network Setup:
DHCP
B Press { { { { U U U U } } } } or { { { { T T T T } } } } to display
"Off", and then press { { { { Enter #} } } } .
DHCP:
*Off
Note
❒ * shows the current setting.
❒ After about two seconds, the
display returns to the "Net-
work Setup" setting screen.

Ethernet Configuration
If you use TCP/IP, assign the IP
address to the printer.
Note
❒ To get the IP address for the
printer, contact your network
administrator.
A Press { { { { U U U U } } } } or { { { { T T T T } } } } until the fol-
lowing message appears.
Network Setup:
IP Address
B Press { { { { Enter #} } } } .
The current IP address appears
on the panel display.
IP Address:
000.000.000.000
C Press { { { { U U U U } } } } or { { { { T T T T } } } } to enter the
left most entry field of the IP
address.
IP Address:
192.000.000.000
D Press { { { { Enter #} } } } .
The pointer (k) moves to the
next entry field automatically.
IP Address:
192.00k.000.000
Note
❒ The value moves by 10 if { { { { U U U U } } } }
or { { { { T T T T } } } } is kept pressed.
❒ When { { { { Enter #} } } } is pressed, the
cursor moves to the next field.
❒ You can return the pointer
(k) to the previous (left) entry
field by pressing { { { { Escape} } } } .
❒ If you press { { { { Escape} } } } when
the pointer (k) is on the left-
most position, the selected IP
address is reset.
