IEEE 802.11b (Wireless LAN) Configuration

Configure the printer for using the
wireless LAN. The following table
shows the control panel settings and
their default values. These items are
included in the "Host Interface"
menu.

In order to use the wireless LAN, se-
lect "IEEE 802.11b" for "LAN Type" in
"Network Setup" of the Host Interface
menu, and then set "DHCP", "IP Ad-
dress", "Subnet Mask", "Gateway Ad-
dress", "Frame Type (NW)" and
"Active Protocol" in the "Network Set-
up". For more information about set-
ting the items in the "Network Setup",
see p.49 "Ethernet Configuration".
