SAVE A SERVICE CALL

SYMPTOM
Appliance will not operate.
Power to Appliance but it will not start.
The air conditioner does not generate 
enough cool air.
Too noisy or vibrating.
Splashing sound.

WHEN TO CALL FOR SERVICE

SYMPTOM
There  is  a  burning  smell  and  a 
strange  sound  coming  from  the 
unit.
When operated if a circuit breaker
(safety, ground) is thrown or a fuse 
is blown.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Not plugged into power.
Power switch OFF.
Timer Function set.
After 
switching 
off 
appliance there may be a 3
minute delay before it may
be re-started.
Room  temperature  is  lower 
than the set temperature.
P1 appears on the display.
The  air  intake  filters  are 
blocked
The  set  temperature  is  too 
high.
Drafts  from  open  windows 
and doors.
Other  heat  sources  in  the 
room.
Cooling space too big.
Operating surface not level
High  level  of  condensate 
being generated.
CAUSE
Turn off the air conditioner, and contact Rinnai.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Plug into power.
Switch power ON.
Wait or reset timer function.
the 
Wait 3 minutes.
Adjust  the  set  temperature 
to be lower than the room
temperature.
Drain the water from the
drain outlets.
Clean air filters.
Adjust the set temperature to 
a lower temperature.
Close  windows  and  doors 
in the area you want to be
cooled.
Remove  or  turn  off  heat 
sources.
Operate the appliance within
the required cooling capacity.
Move the appliance to level a
operating surface.
This is normal. This appliance 
has a pump that evaporates 
some  condensate  through 
the exhaust duct.
