Installing the lower triple clamp

Remove screw

Remove screw

–
Take off the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and
place to one side.

Cover the components to protect them against
Z03286-10
damage.
Do not kink the cables or lines.

Remove steering head seal
–
Remove the lower triple clamp with steering stem.
–
Remove the upper steering head bearing.

(All models apart from Rockstar Edition)
–
Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for dam-
age, and grease.
High viscosity grease (
–
Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
Mount upper steering head bearing.
–
Push on steering head seal
