Click the icons showing a hand writing on the paper to view the readme fi les for each item.
Click a computer icon to the right of an item to install an item (from top to the bottom) one
at a time. After installing each item, you must reboot the system before proceeding with the
next item on the list. The bottom icon with a CD on it allows you to view the entire contents
of the CD.
When making a storage driver diskette by booting into a driver CD, please set the SATA
Confi guration to "Compatible Mode" and confi gure SATA as IDE in the BIOS Setup. After
making the driver diskette, be sure to change the SATA settings back to your original settings.
B.2 SuperDoctor
The Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 is a hardware monitoring program that functions in a
command-line or web-based interface in the Windows and Linux operating systems. The
program monitors system health information such as CPU temperature, system voltages,
system power consumption, fan speed, and provides alerts via email or Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP).
SuperDoctor 5 comes in local and remote management versions and can be used with Nagios
to maximize your system monitoring needs. With SuperDoctor 5 Management Server (SSM
Server), you can remotely control power on/off and reset chassis intrusion for multiple systems
with SuperDoctor 5 or IPMI. SD5 Management Server monitors HTTP, and SMTP services
to optimize the effi ciency of your operation.
Note: The default Username and Password for SuperDoctor 5 is ADMIN / ADMIN.
