Changing the glass fiber yarn filling of the main silencer

Warning
Danger of burns The exhaust system gets very hot when the vehicle is driven.

Allow the exhaust system to cool down before performing any work on the vehicle.
Info
Over time, the fibers of the glass fiber yarn escape and the damper "burns" out.
Not only is the noise level higher, the performance characteristic changes.

Detach spring .
Spring hook (5030501700004)

Remove screws with the washers and take off the main
silencer.

Position the main silencer.

Mount screws with the washers, but do not tighten yet.

Attach spring .

Tighten screws 1 .
