12. THE MPU INTERFACE (REFERENCE EXAMPLES)

The S1D10605 Series can be connected to either 80 × 86 Series MPUs or to 6800 Series MPUs. Moreover, using the
serial interface it is possible to operate the S1D10605 series chips with fewer signal lines.
The display area can be enlarged by using multiple S1D10605 Series chips. When this is done, the chip select signal
can be used to select the individual ICs to access.
