Getting Started

Do not plug or unplug the power cord while the printer is powered on.

To restart the printer, place the printer in Sleep Mode, or power off the printer:
1. At the printer control panel, press the P P o o w w e e r r / / W W a a k k e e button.
2. Select an option:
• To restart the printer, touch R R e e s s t t a a r r t t .
• To place the printer in Sleep Mode, touch S S l l e e e e p p .
In Sleep Mode, the touch screen goes dark and the P P o o w w e e r r / / W W a a k k e e button pulses.
• To power off the printer, touch P P o o w w e e r r O O f f f f .A Please Wait message appears as the printer powers off.
3. If you want to power off the printer for an extended period, open the printer front door, then power off the
main power switch.
