To check the RDS connection status
You can check the RDS connection information for each
box using [RDS Connection Status] in the Home > Setup
> 100G IP I/F > Controller > NMOS menu (19108.13).
The following information is displayed.
Shutdown: Connection to RDS in stopped state
Discovering: RDS discovery using RDS Discovery
function in progress
Discovery failed: RDS discovery using RDS Discovery
function failed
Registering: Registering with RDS
Failed: Registration with RDS failed
Registered X.X.X.X : X: Registered with RDS
successfully (registered IP address : registered port
number)
Setting the Connection for an
NMOS System Without RDS

Open the Home > Setup > 100G IP I/F > Controller >
NMOS menu (19108.13).

Enable/disable the RDS auto discovery function
using the [RDS Discovery] button.

In the [Primary RDS] group, press the [IP Address]
button and enter "0.0.0.0" using the keyboard.

In the [Primary RDS] group, press the [Port] button
and enter "0" using the numeric keypad.

In the [Secondary RDS] group, press the [IP Address]
button and enter "0.0.0.0" using the keyboard.

In the [Secondary RDS] group, press the [Port] button
and enter "0" using the numeric keypad.

Press the [Apply] button.

Check the message, then press [OK].
Note
The setup information must be configured separately on
the NMOS controller side and on the switcher side, where
the switcher is configured as described in "Setting the
Network Interface" (page 446).

Setting the Startup Mode

You can set the behavior when the switcher is rebooted
for ST 2110 routing according to Device Connection
Management (IS-05) from the NMOS controller.

Open the Home > Setup > 100G IP I/F > Controller >
NMOS menu (19108.13).

In the [Device Connection Management (IS-05)]
group, select a startup mode.
Stop: ST 2110 transmission stops until an IS-05
control is received from an external source.
Resume: ST 2110 transmission state before
rebooting is resumed immediately after
rebooting.

Press the [Apply] button.
To return to the previous setting
Press the [Clear] button.

Check the message, then press [OK].
