5 Label Types

Label types provide templates that guide and control the layout for specific applications. Some label
types require specific label supplies. The label types available by pressing the LABEL TYPE key are
as follows:

"General"

• "Wire Marker"
• "Flags"
• "Terminal Block, Patch Panel, 66-Block"
• "Face Plate"
• "110-Block, Bix Block"
• "Vial"
• "DesiStrip (Designation Strip)"
• "Breaker Box"
• "Safety Templates (North America)"
• "General Templates (Europe)"
• "Standard PipeMarker"
• "Arrow Tape"
• "Rollform PipeMarker"
Depending on the application chosen, a sub-menu or dialog box displays to collect information for
automatically formatting the specific label type.
The name of the specific label type being used is displayed on the touchscreen just above the image of
the label.
General
The General label type contains standard functions and formats used for most generic labels, but does
not provide templates as do other label types.
