4. In the Pipe Contents list, select the property of the chemical or substance that flows through the
pipe.
The printer displays the color of ribbon and label supply needed for the selected pipe contents.
This information is based on the color standard that you specified during setup. See
Type" on page
5. In the Pipe Diameter field, enter the diameter of the pipe to be labeled. Enter the pipe
diameter in inches or millimeters, depending on the units of measure selected in Setup,
Language. (See
6. In the Type list, select the type of graphic (arrow or symbol) to be placed on the label.
7. If Symbol is selected, tap Set Graphics. If Arrow is selected, skip to step 13.
8. (EU Only.) In the # of Graphics list, select the number of graphics to display on the label. You
can add up to four graphics per label.
9. In the Category list, select the hazardous materials system that you want to use graphics
from.
10. Tap Graphic #1 and then select the desired graphic.
11. (EU Only.) If you specified more than one graphic, select the remaining graphics in the same
manner: tap the graphic number and then the graphic.

Tip: You can always go back to the previous screen by selecting the lower left button on the
screen (Set Text or Set Contents).
13. Tap OK. The label displays in a preview mode on the screen. Use the navigation keys to view
the contents of the entire label.

Rollform PipeMarker

The Rollform PipeMarker label type uses only continuous media. Rollform pipe markers include one to
two lines of text, repeated the length of the pipe marker, alternating at 90 degree and 270 degree
rotation. You can add up to four graphics, placed in predetermined locations. Graphics are repeated
