ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE
INDICATOR
The coolant temperature is displayed by
an LCD segment temperature indicator
1, indicator symbol 2, warning indica-
tor symbol 3, and oil pressure / engine
coolant temperature / battery voltage
warning indicator light 4.
If the coolant temperature exceeds
248°F (120°C) the oil pressure / engine
coolant temperature / battery voltage
warning indicator light 4 comes on and
the engine coolant temperature indica-
tor symbol 2 blinks.
If the engine coolant temperature warn-
ing indicator symbol 3 appears, stop
the engine. When the engine has
cooled, check the level of coolant in the
reservoir tank.
NOTE: The engine coolant tempera-
ture warning indicator symbol may
appear when idling at high temperature
for an extended period.
