NOTE:

When the traction control system is
controlling engine power output, the
engine sound and exhaust sound
will change.
•
When the front or rear tires do not
stay in full contact with the road sur-
face, such as when riding on a
bumpy road, the traction control sys-
tem will control engine power output.
•
When the traction control system is
controlling engine power output, the
engine speed will not increase even
if the throttle grip is operated to
increase engine power. If this hap-
pens, close the throttle completely to
restore the normal condition.
The traction control system can be
turned OFF or can be set to one of 3
sensitivity settings (Mode 1 to Mode 3).
The traction control system regulates
the engine output so as to reduce the
rear wheel's free spinning. The sensitiv-
ity level is the lowest in Mode 1 and is
the highest in Mode 3.
If "TC OFF" is selected, the engine out-
put is not regulated even when the rear
wheel spins freely.
