Engine damage may occur if you use
oil that does not meet Suzuki's spec-
ifications.
Be sure to use the oil specified in the
SELECTING THE ENGINE OIL sec-
tion.
11.Start the engine (while the motorcy-
cle is outside on level ground) and
allow it to idle for three minutes.
12.Turn the engine off and wait approxi-
mately three minutes. Recheck the
oil level in the engine oil inspection
window while holding the motorcycle
upright. If it is lower than the "L" line,
add oil until the oil level is between
the "L" line and the "F" line. Inspect
the area around the drain plug and
oil filter for leaks.
NOTE: If you do not have a proper oil fil-
ter wrench, have your Suzuki dealer
perform this service.
