INSTALLATION
To install the battery:
1. After cleaning, apply a thin layer of
grease to the terminal section, install
the battery in the reverse order of
removal.
2. Connect the
securely and reinstall the cap.
NOTE: Be sure to reset the engine rpm
indicator in the instrument panel when
the battery terminals are reconnected.

Reversing the battery lead wires can
damage the charging system and the
battery.
Always attach the red lead to the (+)
positive terminal and the black (or
black with white tracer) lead to the (–)
negative terminal.
