Vehicles with an automatic boot separator:

In the event of a system failure, close auto-
matic boot separator
2
manually.
Activating or deactivating AIRCAP
AIRCAP reduces the draught in the front and rear
compartments when you are driving with the soft
top open.
Particularly turbulent air can reduce the effect of
AIRCAP. This can occur when you are driving
behind another vehicle or if there is a crosswind,
for example.
AIRCAP consists of the following components:
a wind deflector above the windscreen
R
a draught stop behind the two rear seat head
R
restraints
When AIRCAP is activated, the wind deflector and
the draught stop will extend simultaneously.
AIRCAP can be activated or deactivated at speeds
of up to approximately 160 km/h.
& WARNING Risk of becoming trapped when
retracting AIRCAP
Somebody could become trapped.
Make sure that nobody holds on to the

upper frame of the windscreen or
touches the wind deflector or draught
stop.
Opening and closing
Switch on the vehicle.

To activate: pull button 1.
#
AIRCAP will extend and the indicator lamp on
button
1
will light up.
To deactivate: press button 1.
#
AIRCAP will retract and the indicator lamp on
button
1
will go out.
