Simulation

Simulation is used for testing purposes, typically for checking that the readings of the control
system are correct.
The simulation can be activated in LUI (menu item 3.7) or via SIMATIC PDM in the
parameter "Enable Simulation" (EnableSimulation).

Enabling simulation for the process values sets the simulated value for all outputs.
