Operating the Parking
Brake
Always engage the parking brake when you stop the
machine or leave it unattended.
Engaging the Parking Brake
WARNING
The parking brake may not hold a machine
that is parked on a slope and could cause
personal injury or property damage.
Do not park on slopes unless the wheels are
chocked or blocked.

Blade-Control Switch (PTO)
The blade-control switch (PTO) starts and stops the
mower blades and any powered attachments.
Engaging the Blade-Control
Switch (PTO)
Important:
Engaging the blade-control switch
(PTO) with the throttle position at half or less will
cause excessive wear to the drive belts.
