Immobilizer

6.16 Race‑on key
The electronic immobilizer secures the vehicle against unautho-
rized use.
The immobilizer is activated and the engine electronics are locked
as soon as the ignition is switched off via the Race-on button
( p. 39).
The Race-on indicator lamp
If the optional alarm system is installed, the Race-on indicator

lamp flashes when the alarm system is switched on.

Press the button to fold out the key bit. The key bit it is
only used for unlocking the seat lock and for opening the cases
(optional).
The black ignition key

The black Race-on spare key can be used to start the vehicle if the
