view camera or the rear ultrasonic
sensor(s) is forcibly moved out of
proper alignment. Have the vehicle be
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
僅 The brake control may not work prop-
erly depending on the status of ESC
(Electronic Stability Control). There
will only be a warning when:
- The ESC (Electronic Stability Con-
trol) warning light is on
- ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is
engaged in a different function

Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance
Assist can detect a pedestrian or an
object when:
僅 A pedestrian is standing behind the
vehicle
僅 A large obstacle, such as a vehicle, is
parked in the rear center of your vehi-
cle
Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA)
Remote Smart Parking Assist
(RSPA) (if equipped)
Remote Smart Parking Assist uses vehi-
cle sensors to help the driver park and
exit parking spaces remotely from out-
side the vehicle by automatically search-
ing for parking spaces, and controlling
the steering wheel, vehicle speed and
gearshifts.
Function
Remotely moving forward or
Remote Operation
僅 Remote Operation function helps the
driver move the vehicle forward or
backward from outside the vehicle
using the smart key.
僅 When Remote Smart Parking Assist
operates, Surround View Monitor and
Parking Distance Warning will also
operate. For more details, refer to

ward/Reverse Parking Distance Warn-

Smart Parking Assist. Make sure there
