Removing the cylinder head

1. Remove:
• Oil pump assembly "1"
2. Remove:
• Cylinder head cover "1"
3. Loosen:
• Cylinder head bolt (M6) "1"
• Cylinder head bolt (M9) "2"
TIP:
Loosen the cylinder head bolts in the order [1],
[2], and so on.

4. Remove:
• Cylinder head bolt "1"
• Cylinder head bolt "2"

• Cylinder head "3"

Do not scratch or damage the mating sur-
faces of the cylinder head and cylinder
block.
