Checking the engine start switch

1. Check:
• Engine start switch continuity
Out of specification  Replace.

a. Disconnect the main wire harness coupler
or switch panel coupler.
b. Check the engine start switch for continui-
ty.

A. Switch panel (704 binnacle mount re-
mote control)
B. Tiller handle model and 703 side mount
remote control
