From this page, you can set up or change the operation panel display language, operation panel key restrictions, and the
printer's sleep timing.

3-2. Security
You can restrict access from the COMMAND CENTER to various pages (except the Start page) by setting an
administrator password.
Note:
By default, no administrator password is set. We recommend setting an administrator password to prevent
unauthorized changes to the IB-23 settings.
The password can be up to 16 characters long.
Make a note of the password in case you forget.
The administrator password can also be set using Advanced > Security > Account Setup.

Follow these steps to set up or change the password.
1. Enter the current password in the old password field. (No input required when setting the password for the first
time.)

Description
Choose the language for the operation panel display.
For locking operation panel keys, preventing use.
Lock: Locks all keys. Use is prohibited.
Partial Lock: Restricts use of the printer's MENU key.
Unlock: All keys may be used.
Choose the time until the printer switches into sleep mode. The supported range is
5-240 minutes. The default setting varies depending on the printer.
The sleep mode can be switched on and off. By default, it is on. To disable sleep
mode, follow these steps.
1. On the right of Sleep Timer, click Advanced.
2. Disable sleep mode.
3. Click Submit on the bottom of the page.
The buzzer can be switched on and off. By default, it is on.
Turns the RAM Disk feature of the printer on and off.
Sets the capacity of the RAM Disk in the printer.
Description
Enter the password that you are currently using.
Enter the new password.
Enter the new password again for confirmation.
Enables (On) or disables (Off) updates using IBVERUP.
