SPECIFYING THE PERIOD UNTIL THE UNIT
ACTIVATES "AUTO POWER OFF" MODE
Follow the steps shown below to specify the period until the unit activates "Auto Power Off"
mode.
Press the "MENU" button, and repeatedly press the

"ARROW" buttons until "Auto Power Off" is shown on the first
line of the display panel.
Repeatedly press the

desired value appears on the second line of the display panel.
Select from "1. 20 minutes" (Default setting), "2. 30 minutes", "3. 45 minutes"
and "4. 60 minutes".
Press the "ENTER" button.

A checkmark (
selected value for one second, the display will return to the ready message.
To exit "Auto Power Off" mode...
Press the "POWER" button (
when the unit receives any scanning job or print job from your computer.
CHANGING THE PAPER DEFAULT SETTING
Use this function to change the default setting for paper. The reduction/enlargement copy
ratio settings will also be changed automatically. Refer to "REDUCING/ENLARGING THE
IMAGE SIZE FOR COPYING" for more information on making changes to these settings.
(See page 49) Follow the steps listed below to change the paper default setting.
