In vehicles without steering wheel buttons – via the display on

the on-board computer .
In vehicles with steering wheel buttons – via the analog dis‐

play on the instrument cluster
If the coolant temperature is below the maximum value specified

below, you can continue driving to the nearest qualified specialist
workshop.
Avoid high engine loads, e.g. driving on hilly roads or stop-and-go

driving.
During normal driving and if the coolant level is correct, the coolant
temperature display is permitted to rise to letter
Possible causes/consequences and
*The yellow tire pressure monitoring system warning lamp (pressure
loss/malfunction) is on.
The tire pressure monitoring system has detected a loss of pressure
in at least one tire.
& WARNING Risk of an accident due to insufficient tire pres‐
sure
The tires can burst.

The tires can wear excessively and/or unevenly.

The driving characteristics as well as the steering and braking

may be greatly impaired.
You could then lose control of the vehicle.
Observe the recommended tire pressures.

Secure the vehicle against rolling away.

Pay attention to the display messages.

Check the tires and, if necessary, replace the wheel
