ROGRAMMING THE
You can record up to 32 note entries using 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, Triplets, or Shuffle Triplets in Step Time or Real Time. The
parameters that are included in the arpeggiator are Arpeggio, A-Rhythm, A-Duration, A-Tempo. Use the following
procedure to program an arpeggio in real time:
1)
Call up Patch E52 Nylon Guitar/Strings.
2)
Switch the EDIT TARGET to ARPEGGIO.
3)
Press EDIT/PLAY.
4)
Switch the PARAMETER SELECT to A.
5)
Use PATCH [-] and [+] to select "A. - 1". This determines which tone will be used with the arpeggiator. You can
assign both tones, but for now set it to "A.-1" for 1st tone.
6)
Switch the PARAMETER SELECT to B.
7)
Use PATCH [-] button to change the current value to "04._" which represents a quarter note. With 32 note
events available and a setting of quarter note, it is possible to create an 8 bar arpeggio pattern.
8)
Switch the PARAMETER SELECT to C.
9)
Use PATCH [-] and [+] to select Full for full note value.
10) Switch the PARAMETER SELECT to D.
11) Use PATCH [-] and [+] to select the desired tempo such as 70.
12) Press PEDAL 1 to begin the metronome.
13) Pick strings 4, 3, 2, 1 then STOP.
14) Press EDIT/PLAY to return to the play mode.
15) Switch PARAMETER SELECT to WRITE TO.
16) Use the PATCH [-] and [+] buttons to select a patch location such as A21.
17) Switch the PARAMETER SELECT to WRITE PATCH and press the PATCH [-] and [+] buttons simultaneously
to write the edited patch into memory.
18) Strum a chord to hear the results.
You can turn the arpeggiator On and Off for any patch by using the following procedures:
Method 1
1)
Switch the PARAMETER SELECT dial to PATCH INC/DEC.
2)
Press PEDAL 4 to turn the arpeggiator ON and OFF.
Method 2
1)
Switch the PARAMETER SELECT dial to any position other than PATCH INC/DEC.
2)
Hold the S2 button on the GK-2A pickup and press PEDAL 4. This will turn the arpeggiator ON or OFF. Press
the S2 button again to EXIT.
