32ND, 16TH, 8TH: Quantizes the input timing deviation with the fineness of the
32nd, 16th, and 8th notes, respectively. The deviated input is recorded on the closer
one of the previous and next inputs.
UI DEFAULTS (Button 2)
PRM DISP (PARAMETER DISPLAY)
NORMAL: Shows only key information such as the name of the program or drum
kit, SELECT/SAVE, etc. on the display.
ALL: Pops up the value when you operate the kit control or parameter knob, in ad-
dition to the display in NORMAL.
KNOB MODE
The front panel knobs can operate in one of two modes:
JUMP: When you turn the knob, the parameter value will jump to the value in-
dicated by the knob. Since this makes it easy to hear the results while editing, we
recommend that you use this setting.
CATCH: Turning the knob will not change the parameter value until the knob po-
sition matches the stored value. We recommend that you use this setting when you
don't want the sound to change abruptly, such as while performing.
EXPAND
Press the EXPAND (

METRONOME (Button 3)
SOUND
Turns the metronome on and off, and sets tone.
OFF: Turns the metronome off.
CLICK: Outputs an electronic sound that makes a clicking sound.
BLEEP: Outputs an electronic bleeping sound.
MODE
Makes the settings to operate the metronome.
ALWAYS: The metronome always sounds.
REC: The metronome sounds only during real-time recording.
OUTPUT
Sets the destination for the output of the metronome sound.
MAIN+HP: The metronome sound is output to both the main OUTPUT and head-
phone output.
HP: The metronome sound is only output to the headphones. It is not output to OUTPUT.
