Micropilot M FMR24x/250, new software version "Pulse Master eXact" 01.05.00
The new SW version Pulse Master eXact 01.05.00 has been introduced in CW39/2006 for the following instruments:
• FMR240
HART and PROFIBUS PA
• FMR244
HART and PROFIBUS PA
• FMR245
HART and PROFIBUS PA
• FMR250
HART and PROFIBUS PA
The following changes have been made to the software function:
• Introduction of new SW parameter for differentiation between liquids and solids applications
• Filter settings of new SW with application parameters
The new software is compatible with these operating tools:
• ToF Tool Fieldtool Package as of version 4.00
• HART Communicator DXR375, revision1, DD revision 1
• Fieldcare version 2.02.02 / DTM library release C-2006
A flash update from software version 01.04.00 to 01.05.00 is not possible due to different hardware. A hardware exchange is required in
any case.
Hints for repair and spare parts for FMR24x
Instruments with software version Pulse Master 01.04.00:
• in case of faulty electronics, the electronics module must be exchanged with the same type with SW 4.0
• if the HF module is faulty, it must be exchanged with the same type for SW4.0
• if an upgrade to 5.0 is desired (for advanced dynamics), HF module and electronics must always be exchanged together
Instruments with software version Pulse Master eXact 01.05.00:
• in case of faulty electronics, the electronics module can only be exchanged with the same type with SW5.0
• if the HF module is faulty, it can only be exchanged with the same type for SW5.0
• spare electronics FMR24x/250 HART software version 01.05.00
• spare electronics FMR24x/250 PROFIBUS PA SW01.05.00
• spare electronics FMR24x/250 FOUNDATION Fieldbus SW01.05.00
• spare HF module advanced dynamics, 26 GHz, for SW 01.05.00
Conversion of an instrument FMR24x for special applications (advanced dynamics)
The conversion is possible for non-Ex instruments or Ex ia / Ex d instruments, however not for solids instruments with certification
WHG / SIL or FM.
Together with the new software version, we offer 2 new HF modules with enhanced dynamics for liquids applications:
• spare HF module max. measuring range = 40 m
• spare HF module max. measuring range = 70 m
A HF module can only be changed in combination with a change to electronics SW5.0.
